Breakfast is something people are often scared of.
How to have a delicious but healthy breakfast? How can I incorporate my protein shake in my daily breakfast without having only a smoothie for breakfast?
Well, we’ve been trying out this high protein, lactose-free, gluten-free Blueberry Protein Pancakes recipe lately, they are super easy to make, it takes less than 10 minutes!
For this recipe, you’ll need:
The directions are super easy!
- Just mix in a blender:
1cup of oats (make sure they are gluten-free if you are allergic)
1cup of milk
1/2 cup of chia seeds
1/2 cup of yogurt of choice (we used soy yogurt)
1 scoop of protein
1/2 a banana
- Once blended add the blueberries and mix so every pancake has some.
- Heat the pan with a little bit of oil (we used coconut oil) and cook them until they’re brown.
- Flip them and serve!
PRO TIP: If you want to add a bit more flavor me recommend adding a tbs of cinnamon and a tbs of vanilla.
We served them with peanut butter, strawberries, the other half of the banana, fresh blueberries, a bit of yogurt we had left and a drizzle of agave syrup.
